Exclusive to Pulp Addiction - Lost Vistas - Cathedrals of Constantinople 30ml

The Cathedrals of Constantinople ink is a homage to the architectural wonders of the Byzantine age. The Byzantine Roman Empire, once the pinnacle of architectural, technological and theological achievement, ended in 1453 with the siege and sacking of Constantinople by Mehmed II. This followed a long decline in the Empire's size and strength, from the rise of the Ottoman Empire, the Schism with the western Chistian church in 1053, and the sacking of 1203 by the Crusaders on their way to Jerusalem. By the time of its fall, Constantinople, once the heart of the Christian world and the Roman Empire, was but a handful of villages. After the conquest, Iconic cathedrals, most notably the Hagia Sophia, once the jewel of Byzantine architecture, were repurposed, symbolizing the profound changes the city underwent.

This ink, exclusively available through Pulp Addiction, is inspired by the majesty and significance of the Byzantine cathedrals, of which the Hagia Sophia is a marvelous example and still exists to be enjoyed today. This ink features a Byzantium purple, a color that evokes the deep and rich heritage of the Byzantine Empire. The hue is reminiscent of the grandeur and spiritual depth of the Hagia Sophia and the other lost monuments of Constantinople.

In every stroke, this ink invites reflection on the history of the Byzantines, and the cultural and architectural legacy they left. It's a tribute to resilience, transformation, and the enduring beauty of a city that has been a crossroads of civilizations for millennia.
